Web Content Development – Editorial Planner (Part-Time)

The Cedars
We are looking for collaborators to revamp and maintain an online platform we are developing, called ‘The Cedars.’ ‘Cedars’ is a platform that displays what a relevant and inspirational life looks like for the millennial audience through different forms of creative expression, including writing, video, and photography. For the Spring of 2017 we are looking for creative, self-starters that will take on key roles as part of the team that develops creative content for the ‘Cedars’ platform. Editorial Planner
We are seeking an enthusiastic Editorial Planner with a can-do attitude. The ideal person will take this opportunity as a launching pad for future Editorial roles, and therefore is eager to learn, provide crucial support to the Creative Director and team, as well as make an impact.

Key Tasks
Coordinate research needed to create visual stories for the website, including sourcing people and resources (locations, interviewees, wardrobe, etc.)
Maintain communication with key contacts needed for creative content development
Assist in developing storyboards for visual story lines with photography and video
Assist in sourcing and set up of sets needed for photoshoots and video recordings
Owns the content calendar and assists the team with keeping to deadlines
Drive and promote online content via social media and other channels
Integrate with broader GodKulture web platform for cohesive delivery

Key Qualities
Strong interest in working on a faith-based project
Able to capture the vision behind ‘The Cedars’ and run with it
Strong interest in creative, digital content development (experience doing this is a plus)
Able to work in a project based environment
Able to multitask and coordinate with the team in keeping with deadlines
Strong communication skills
College degree completed or in process
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

The team will be largely virtual in the planning phases of content development, and will meet in person on weekends for photo and video shoots, and a few team meetings. A content calendar will be shared with the team.
